So what have I been up to this week? Work and more work.
First, as it turns out – I don’t like change. I have moved twice since I started at my job, and we’re being moved again in various stages and I got into work apprehensive about where I was going to end up. I’m in a spot where I can be ridiculous and make funny faces and be hidden by my computer screens and I love that. I might have to move again though this week and that sucks. But such are the perils of being a cubicle dweller.
I’ve also learned that I need to let go of certain elements of stress at work. It’s a matter of things never changing and me needing to learn to accept that. I can’t change what is years of people working the same way.
I did do some more renovations buying this weekend and I can say I’ve never made such a fast decision in this entire renovation. It slightly scares me and I try to remember that I’ve been looking at stoves, ovens etc for weeks now and I really do know what I want, lol
I also feel a little bit sad that the Daily Diaries link-up is finishing with this one, especially because I just found it and loved the idea of it, but I understand too where Kate is coming from in regards to feeling obligated to doing something and that obligation taking the fun out of things.
So thank you Kate, for running this. I’m just sorry I found it so late!
