Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday.
It’s held over at That Artsy Reader Girl, where every week bloggers list their top 10 bookish lists to the theme for the week. This week is about those book titles that can double as song titles:
Trust: This is so a country music song. Or a ballad?
Either Side of Midnight : Rock song. Totally.
Live and Let Chai: I feel like this is a kid’s song.
Good Girl Bad Girl: Rock song OR a country music song
The Nothing Man; country music. Totally.
Heartache and Birdsong: country music
The Dirty South : country music
This made me laugh. I don’t really like country music!
These all fit so well. Especially the ones you choose country music for. Love it!
Live and Let Chai would be an amazing kid’s song.
My post.
Good Girl Bad Girl definitely sounds like a country song!
You know, when I saw Live and Let Chai, I started singing Live and Let Die by Bon Jovi
lol I personally don’t like country much either but I could totally see how the ones you picked as country songs could be! I like that you picked which kind of genre the songs would match the titles. I think you did a great job of picking them. Great post <3
I feel like country songs can be quite big on the whole narrative storytelling things, so I’m not surprised a lot of book titles sound like they’d make good country songs.

That’s funny you don’t really like country music, because so many of these really DO read like country titles!
I love your list and Live and Let Chai is awesome. I used Good Girls Lie and I’m not a big country music fan either. I like a few artists but that book just screams for a country song!
The Nothing Man would be a great country song title!
I can see someone like Rihanna making a song called Black Widows. Something haunting yet peppy 🙂 Great list!

Either Side of Midnight TOTALLY sounds like a rock song 🙂
Great choices! I’m not a huge country music fan either but those titles totally have a country music vibe to them. I also really like Black Widows. I could see that as a Heart or Blondie song.
