Top Ten Tuesday: Love Freebie

If you’re new to my blog,  welcome to Top Ten Tuesday. It’s held over at That Artsy Reader Girl, where every week bloggers list their top 10 bookish lists to the theme for the week.  This week’s topic is about all things Valentine’s Day!

I just finished The Little Bookshop on the Seine, and I’ve been contemplating holidays this here, so here are 10 cities I would like to see people switch bookshops in with someone in small-town anywhere:

Japan: here’s a list of the most beautiful bookstores in Japan.

Venice: Duh.

Madrid: YESSS.

Netherlands: And also, they are the first country to have no stray dogs, and yes I had to throw that in there because it blows my mind and it is entirely possible.

Greece: because of these and of course, and Atlantis books because WOW (still).

They’re not your conventional spots, but that’s what attracts me as much as Sarah going to Paris did. Rebecca Raisin brought the city, the people and the culture to life and I want to see that care and detail applied to a story in one of these places.
