Top Ten Tuesday: Rainy Day Reads

If you’re new to my blog,  welcome to Top Ten Tuesday. It’s held over at That Artsy Reader Girl, where every week bloggers list their top 10 being asked about.  This week is about rainy day reads, but I don’t really read according to the weather. Instead, I’m just going to do a list of a couple of books I am unexpectedly looking forward to.

Hush Hush: This is the series that convinced me to give James Patterson’s co-authoring with other authors a go, and none have come close to this one. Granted I may be biased bc his co-author is Candice Fox, an Australian author. In this, Harriet Blue, a former cop is now in jail and as you can imagine, that’s not where a cop should want to be.

The Flatshare: This blurb just made me smile. Tiffany and Leon keep odd hours and so due to finances, find themselves sharing a flat and never seeing each other, but leaving each other plenty of post-its… which as it turns out is the perfect recipe for love.

Titanshade: A cover that reminds me of Alien Nation, and a review from Tammy that says it’s nothing like that at all. I am so curious about this book and that gritty cover just grabbed me and would not let go.

The Reign of the Kingfisher: Did the police fake the death of a superhero in Chicago? a journalist, hacktivist and a disgraced police officer are determined to find out.

Alice isn’t Dead: Keisha thinks her wife is dead, until she begins to see Alice at major tragedies around the country. Instead of finding her wife, Keisha’s search sees her land in the middle of a war no one knows is being fought.

#fashionvictim: Office politics turned deadly for a promotion. Who hasn’t been there? 🙂
