Top Ten Tuesday: Those characters that need their own stories told

If you’re new to my blog,  welcome to Top Ten Tuesday. It’s held over at That Artsy Reader Girl, where every week bloggers list their top 10 being asked about. This week the topic is actually about those books that have less than 2000 Goodreads ratings, but I’m going with TV and movie characters I would like to see books about — because that seems to be a thing these days.

Michael Burnham and Spock: what on earth did she do to fracture their sibling relationship? I figure this will come up sooner or later in the show, but a YA novel about them and Amanda and Sarek? Yes, I could read that. However, I doubt that Sarek and Amanda would be as oblivious about the change in their children’s relationship than the show would lead us t o believe.

Michelle Yeoh’s Emperor and Georgiou: So Captain Georgiou was Michael’s previous captain, who died in battle. And then Michael and Discovery went off into an alternate universe and discovered that Georgiou there was actually the Emperor and ruling everything — which she rightly should. But what made her that way? What made Georgiou that way in the Discovery’s universe? I can’t decide what story I would like to see more of.

Black Widow: Look I was damned scarred by the very bad YA novel I read previously, and I need an Adult R-rated Widow book.

The adults in Ayesha at Last: I just reviewed this last week and every time I think of it, I just want to smile. But the adults in the book, I think have stories to be told: about arranged marriages themselves and falling in love on their own –– and Ayesha’s mother and her relationship with her father.

Lethal Lit: This is a podcast murder mystery and it’s damned addictive — and I know it defeats the purpose to have a book about something that is a podcast, but I waaant one!

Mrs Hudson: As in specifically Mrs Hudson who kidnaps John in her car, and then who we discover wanted to be rid of her jerk of a husband in Sherlock? That Mrs Hudson who probably ran her husband’s criminal gang/enterprise. I think she has stories that need telling.

Who are the characters you would like to know more about?
