So Top Ten Tuesday is held over at That Artsy Reader Girl, where every week bloggers list their top 10 being asked about. This week we’re talking about pretty covers!
Or to be more accurate, those covers with my favourite colour: blue. So I read that blue represents dependability, trust, thoughtfulness and calm and that dark blue means deep sincerity. I don’t know that’s what I think when I first saw these covers, I must admit.
I saw this over at Metaphors and Moonlight, where Kristen was discussing covers with ships on them, and when I saw this week’s topic, this was the first thing that popped into my head.
I like this one because it’s so simple. And rather elegant.
This is the Japanese cover for The Philosopher’s Stone. Atmospheric right?
I hate this book. But I often wonder how much more the cover artist to this book must’ve hated it to saddle it with this monstrosity.
This just makes me smile!
