This month I had the pleasure of reading to very different, but equally cute books!
Mummy Fairy and Me by Sophie Kinsella
Sophie Kinsella’s adult books are the kind of read I think that can best be described as when you finish, you will have a smile on your face. On the surface, it might not seem like the esteemed literary fiction we are often told is worth more than commercial fiction, but there’s something to be said for the genuine warmth and engagement she offers in her writing.

Freaks on the Loose by Leigh Hobbs
The Freaks from 4F are on the loose.
Have your wits about you because these freaks are out of control and with the new teacher Miss Corker they have many ideas to make her run.
Can Miss Corker tame the crazy freaks?
Do you dare read this book?

Off to check out your review 🙂
That Sophie Kinsella (!!) book is too cute — TOO CUTE!
I love Sophie Kinsella but had no idea that she wrote children’s books too. Her first venture into young adult was a complete success as well. I love the modernisation of what seems to be a fairly traditional style of children’s book. Fairytube completely hooked me. I’ll have to pick up a copy as well and soon. Brilliant review!
I was so surprised to see that she did kid’s books like this too — and Kelly, it’s so cute!!
Her novels don’t seem to work well for me, but I honestly had no idea she also wrote Children’s books! I checked your reviews and the ones you read sound fun and cute reads, glad you had a good time with them both 🙂
Her adult books I found were simple, you might see the end coming but they were also satisfying. I’ve fiound I have to be in the mood for Kinsella’s books to enjoy them immensely! It was sooo much fun!
I left my comments on the reviews!
