#LoveOzLit: Nova Weetman on what a #LoveozYA means to her as a writer & a mother

Nova Weetman on what it means to have a #LoveOzYA anthology

I feel like Nova Weetman’s quote here speaks to the hopes for Begin, End, Begin out there in the great wide reading world. And, like she points out so many young readers are going to get to know more #LoveOzYA authors. One day, I’m excited for my nephews to read an anthology like this and see themselves in the characters in the book, and see stories they can identify with.

What book makes you feel like this? That you want to share it with young readers in your life and you’re thoroughly excited at the idea of just readers in general reading it?

Sharing reads and introduce them to others is something we (bloggers) do on a daily basis, but who wouldn’t love to share a read with their own kids? <3 Also, yes, I get excited at the idea of readers in general reading about characters and stories they can identify with. Read, kids, read & dream A LOT!

This is true, that is exactly what bloggers do. But yeah, I am waiting WAITING on pins and needles to be able to share reads with my nephews!

  • This new blogging year for me has been amazing precisely because my kids are now old enough so I can share my love for books with them. When I started blogging two tears ago I only reviewed YA and Adult. Now I review children’s books as well and love it! I added this anthology to GR 🙂

I am so jealous right now! I am busting to be able to introduce my nephews to sooo many things!

  • Oh, I can’t wait for my niece and nephew to get old enough to really get into Harry Potter.

    Thanks for sharing!

  • Kelly says:

I love this and no truer words have been spoken. I love anthologies. Sometimes with a new author you can be hesitant to commit when you only see snippets of their work and not sure if it’s for you. Anthologies are a brilliant way to experience so many new authors. I was thrilled when my preorder arrived and can’t wait to get to it after I finish ACOWAR.

  • I really want to instill a love for reading in my son so there are many books that I’m just waiting for him to be old enough so that I can share them with him. He’s just about the right age now so I’ve just finished sharing the Harry Potter series with him and I think The Chronicles of Narnia is going to be the next series I introduce him to.
