So there I was going through Netgalley for something else entirely, when I saw this cover. Yes, Baker’s Magic is for 9-12 year olds, but there something so quietly appealing about it — dare I say, magical — about it. It’s been a tough weekend moving house and when I saw this cover this morning, I just sighed in relief that something made me feel settled? Quiet? I can’t even describe it properly. Just that sometimes, I let me inner 12yo out to play. Heh.
