“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
This week’s pre-publication “can’t-wait-to-read” selection is: River Road by Carol Goodman.
At first this seemed pretty straightforward: a writing professor is accused of a hit and run, and it almost seemed like a character-driven story that I wasn’t sure I was in the mood for, but then there’s the possible connection to Nan’s (the professor’s) daughter’s death and I thought, ok. This I can get behind!

This definitely sounds like a nail-biter! This book would make me an anxious, sweaty mess – which is why I don’t read many thrillers! Haha. Cool pick.

This sounds compelling. When it comes to thrillers, I like how quickly I read them, but I do not pick them on regular basis.
