Honey Brown, author of Dark Horse, makes a very simple point with this quote: what are we missing out on when publishers and agents opt for safer publishing trends than those that are more diverse. Unusual. Or outside their — and our — comfort zones.
What’s interesting is that I’ve had conversations and comments, and read essays and articles that believe diversity is growing and it’s not at the same time. What do you think? Which do you believe?
