Waiting on Wednesday is held over at Breaking the Spine every week and is the bets place to get an idea of what new releases are coming up. I don’t know what I’d do without such a heads up!
This week, my heads up is:
It’s coming up in November from Virago and is a collection of essays from women under 30 about what it means to be a feminist. I like the idea of women this age giving their views on what it means to be a feminist — I think it’ll be eye-opening for women older than 30 and hopefully women who want to understand what it means to be a feminist in their age range.
What are you waiting for this week?
Ooh interesting. I’m curious about each short. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Happy Wednesday!

I hope it is! Am very curious about it.
Interesting choice for this week. Will you be reviewing it?
I hope to review it — it’s out later this year.
I would love to see the perspective of younger women on feminism…some of us “oldies” think we invented it, LOL. We were the Second Wave, however.
Thanks for sharing. Here’s mine: “UNDER THE INFLUENCE”
Someone did comment on Twitter that 1960s feminism is different to the feminism these days, which it is. Do you think feminism then was it — the height of the feminist movement?
This is the first that I’ve heard of this one but I’m definitely going to keep my eyes open for it.

I’m glad — I hope it’s good. I think it’s good to read about different perspectives, especially about this.
I was browsing through your blog, and found this! WOW. This is a real WOW. Thisbook is immediately going on my Goodreads TBR shelves!! I consider myself a feminist, so I’d be interested in reading the thoughts of younger women. (Ahem…..I’m a little over 30…..)
It’s great that you picked a nonfiction book for your Waiting On Wednesday post on this day! I have decided to make my blog strictly YA, as I’ve noticed I wasn’t getting many comments on my nonfiction reviews. So I revived another blog I had started, MindSpirit Book Journeys, and I will be including nonfiction book reviews there.
Thanks for putting this book on my radar!! : )
Hee, I’m a little over 30 too! I’m glad you liked this pick — I’m looking forward to what a younger generation is thinking as well. It sounds like it’ll be a good way to learn to think about Feminism differently? (hopefully!)
