Brad Pitt, Fury and World of Tanks

Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) in Columbia Pictures' FURY.

Brad Pitt has never been more interesting to me now than at any other time in his career — I freely admit that has more than a little to do with Angelina Jolie. But yes, back to Brad and his new movie Fury.

The trailer has started to appear on Australian TV screens and I am growing more curious by the minute about it. I was surfing the net today and found a review that called it a “manly tearjerker”.

Doesn’t it feel like it’s been too long since we’ve seen him in something? — especially because much of this film seems to be set in the tank? (Am I wrong?) The tank has piqued my interest and this caught my eye: there’s a video game — World of Tanks — in which the film’s Sherman Tank makes an appearance (there are Fury bundles as well that go with this game). Admittedly, I misread something and assumed WarDaddy (Brad Pitt) would be making an appearance in the game too (what can I say, I’m a little bit excited about Brad). I am usually a happy-ending sort of person when it comes to my entertainment, but a ‘manly tearjerker’ might be reason enough to change my mind. And also David Ayer as director. And also Brad Pitt. I mentioned him right?!
