Viola Davis, David Duchovny and Ioan Gruffudd new shows… and they look good
Trailers are coming thick and fast currently and three caught my eye — well two and a logo.
How to get away with Murder starring Viola Davis, and created by Shonda Rhimes (I’m a closet Scandal junkie): this little beauty is about a law professor and her students, who become embroiled in a murder and … things will never be the same again. How to stretch this over one season though? Huh.
David Duchovny’s Charles Manson show got an effectively creepy logo and a name that happens to be my birthsign, lol.
And finally, Ioan Gruffudd is in a show that is reminding me of New Amsterdam — the short-lived show starring Nikolaj Coster-Waldau before Game of Thrones. In this show though, Gruffudd is Dr Henry Morgan, NY’s medical examiner who studies the dead in order to try and figure out why he’s immortal. Please oh please, don’t let it be because he’s looking for his one true anything?!
